After immigrating from Uzbekistan and then Russia to the USA as a teenager, Yan developed his communication skills during his 8 years of experience in luxury hospitality at a Leading Hotels of the World property in TriBeCa, where he interacted professionally with celebrity and high-powered clients daily. Yan has been an active licensed real estate agent since 2018. During transformative time in 2020, Yan was leading investor relations, sales, customer success, and marketing departments at a big tech start-up Gesture US Inc. as a Vice President. As of 2026 Yan Gladkov has joined Alta Real Estate, a hyper-focused local boutique luxury real estate firm, as a principal real estate agent. Yan is extremely detail oriented when guiding his clients through forming, storming, norming and performing business stages and they know they have his support throughout the whole process. Yan is passionate about extreme competition and finished one of the toughest Spartan Races, a half marathon stretched over 7,000 feet of elevation with 33 obstacles engineered to push you out of your comfort zone and right up to your limits. Yan's previous education includes attending Baruch College in the city, and a professional music school in Russia. Yan also won two bronze medals in a Middle Eastern martial arts championship in Uzbekistan.
